Ghada possesses strong engineering and technical skills. As deployment director in Asiacel she managed the building of more than 3000 sites and 5 data centers across Iraq, in one year. Later in 2005, as CEO of Digicel, responsible for 7 territories and managing more than 2000 employees, Ghada built new operation from scratch and transformed flagging operations. Ghada founded the Digicel foundation in Haiti that built more than 300 schools all over the country in 4 years also put in place a program for young entrepreneurs that helped develop more than 10 successful startups.
The Operation she built in Haiti survived the earthquake of 2010 with minor to no service interruption due to well planned crisis management. Ghada herself assisted with the recovery efforts in Haiti, during and after the massive earthquake of 2010. In Iraq again in 2011, as CEO of Korek Telecom, responsible for 1900 employees, 7M customers and revenues of circa USD800M, growing the business by more than 40% in less than 6 month, and growing the customer base from less of 1 million to 7 million in 3 years. Since then, she managed Djezzy, a Mobile Operator in Algeria with 18 millions customer and turnover of circa 1.5 billion US, and afterwards Digicel as Group Project Management Officer, responsible for the transformation, modernization and digitalization of data centers, BSS and customer interface automation for 6 countries: Papa New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Nauru. Currently she consults for one of the biggest consultancy firm in the word and lead a data center startup in Ethiopia.
She currently consults for big consultancy firms as an independent consultant and and is on the board advisory of international and global companies.
